£50 could help us to provide the cats in our care essential therapeutic grooming. While most cats can groom themselves very well, and a brush from their owners can help improve muscle tone and promote a healthy coat, sadly some cats that arrive here at Battersea need extra help.

Eleven-year-old Mikey’s fur was severely matted, and our groomers decided that they needed to remove most of it to allow a healthy coat to grow through. Mikey took his new shorn look in his stride and was soon happily receiving lots love and attention from the cattery team. He also found a new home and family, where he is now living a happy and healthy life.
